This is copying from a Microsoft product to a Microsoft product, shouldn't it work natively? See screenshots for the drawing in Visio, and then the drawing when copied into word with filters on, and then with filters off.
I do have a workaround by converting to png and then pasting into Word, but my customer is not satisfied with that. I have tried using Office 2013 products (for testing), converting the drawing to 2003-2010 format (still blue) saving the drawing as *.emf. Boxes are in the drawing are white with blue filler with filters off, as opposed to being entirely blue with filters on. Even withįilters turned off, when you copy the drawing, it is shaded blue. Since this upgrade, we've run into a problem with copying Visio 2016 drawings into Word documents - this was never a problem before.
